sec3 camp was fun. no sarcasm.. not that much torture, not tat much tanning. wasted chance to get tanned... iwant to get darker. not red, like pple from the cycling group. i tink their skin is peeling off le, by now. learnt many things from this time's camp.
day1--------
gathered in school at 6+. can see alot of pple taking many stuff, carrying huge haversacks. went onto the bus at 8+ i tink. went thru the customs, then switched buses a few times. the journey to our campsite was very long.. 10 hour + if i rmb correctly. we stopped along the way to get some food, and go toilet. and tats the only time we could get chewing gum.. hehe.. i bought 3. ate 1. the other 2 goes.... somewhere... slept alot on this bus. we had lunch at this place. got alot of flies. the place was quite ok, except for the flies. really. turns off ur appetite. the drinks were put on the table for us, then the flies rested on the tip of the cups. a few on a cup. its jus sick. pple behind me were playing, singing. someone bought spoilt food, by accident. then they played a number game, then whoever loses has to eat a chip of the food.. and the punishment increases with every loss.. i tried one. tasted ok.. we wanted to find the nearest hospital.
we arrived at the campsite at night, where it was raining. we had to get down the bus, move to the side to get our backs, then take out our ponchos and torch, then walk to our campsite. quite cold. we arrived at the 'resturant'. its just a platform, floating on the river. the food not bad. at least no flies. after eating we had briefing for the trekking. after that was sleep.. had to find the toilet, which was hard to find. walk ard in the dark then can find. the tent was stl ok, 3 to a tent, i shared with kang ming and kevin. real experience. discovered that kang ming at night oso have to apply wax, to take pics. he says its a rare chance, dunt take pics is very wasted.
day2---------
kang ming poke me in the morning, to wake me up. at ard 5+ i tink. suppose to report at 6.30. not bothered to brush teeth, so just ate chewing gum. clorets chewing gum. got morning excercise, then went for breakfast. fried rice and beehoon. food was stl ok. not very nice. at least got tables and chairs. everyone had to take 6 bottles of water on the trek.. tats alot lah. we went off, took a boat to the place. a few minutes ride on boat to the place. the place was a resort, very nice, compared to our campsite. walked past a few houses, then reached a gate. starting pt of our trek. was very easy at first. jus normal walking on flat, decayed leaves. then got steeper, dirtier, and hotter. and there were more steps. big steps. reached the treetop walk, waited there for almost 1 hour. cos got alot of pple there, waiting to go on the treetop walk. its like a small bridge on tall pillars, very narrow bridges. i went after melvin. quite fun. got 7 or 8 bridges to walk, the first 3 was easy. next few was harder, i dunno y. managed to walk finish with ease. i'm not afraid of heights. continued walking.... D.J, our guide, walk very fast. only issac managed to keep up with him. the rest of us were pretty slow. we reached a very small river.
D.J passed it with ease. i didnt. i couldnt find the stepping stone. so i stepped right into the river. had to pull it out, the mud quite sticky underneath. heres my first encounter with a leech. i stepped rite out, walked a few steps, then look down n found a small leech. haha.. had mixed emotions at that time. i was slightly happy, slightly scared, and excited. in the end i just flicked it away. continued walking until we reached the 'checkpoint. good view from there. took a few pics, wich are currently with KM. went uphill, then down hill. got quite a few bruises, cos of the slippery mud. rained yst, so hard to walk. as we went, theres increasing no of leech attacks..haha and it gets bigger as we go. i got a few oso. but they didnt bite me:) had one on my back. dunno how it got there. caught 2 leeches along the way. sadly, both died before they could reach singapore. death was caused by kevin... he pour medicated oil into the bottle of water, which we kept it in. class pets gone just liddat. haiz... josiah wanted to name it tomy and haribo. for obvious reasons.
had lunch by the river. lunch came on a boat, in packets. worst meal i ate in the camp. dunt wanna talk about it. after the trek we went onto a boat, and i tot they were gonna capsize us or smtg liddat. on the river, another boat came charging at us. then it was parallel to us when it crossed us. splashed alot of water on us. did this a few times, with each of the oncoming boats. fun. cooling. we reached this small river, where they allowed us to play and wash up. thats the best part. and i fell in the river... argh. cut myself.
went back to wash up and stuff, at ard 4.30. kept the tent, and set off for our next destination. slept on the bus for a while, then reached our campsite. wokeup, and next ting i knew, we were taking our stuff from the side of the bus again, putting it on the stony ground, like the first nite. except it wasnt raining. we had dinner, not tat bad, then they taught us how to set up the tent. quite easy. after that, nature called on us. very refreshing to lighten the load. then we slept. very tired. KM put wax again.. then kevin spam the powder. use like siao.
we tot we could sleep at 10+ tat nite. then they told us theres night walk. really kept the suspense well. they told us to blinfold ourselves, then lead us on a walk, thru the dark, to somewhere. then they told us to think of smtg, and made us sit there for a very long time. i tink i sat there for a few hours. then they took me away, and i tot i was seperated from the rest. i was. there was no 'rest'. cos the 'rest' went off le. they took off my blinfold, gave me a candle, and told me to walk back to the camp site. i was pretty shocked. so instintively i walked. along the way, my candle melted. and it reached my finger.. i blew out the flame, and walked in darkness.. before that, marcus's flame went out oso. so he stood there and waitied for mw to arrive. gave him part of the flame, then walked on, faster then him. managed to reach the campsite without walking onto the grass. i was leader for group 3a, so i waited the longest, as they took the pple one by one, from the back. i was last to go, and i had alot of bites. mosquitoe bites.
day3----------
caving and abseiling todae. very fun. except the stomachache part. we were split into 2 parts, one halve do the abseiling first, the other did the caving. switch activity after lunch. right after breakfast, and the briefing, i had stomachache. then chiong to toilet. eugene oso went. when i came out, they went off to the abseiling already..
i tot i was nervous, until i did the mock abseiling. realized i was more confident of abseiling then the last time, which was sec2 camp. then waited for everyone to finish the mock. during that time, i got another stomachache. very hard to tahan. then waited and waited. then cannot take it. run to toilet and release myself from the torture. after that i ok le. damn shiok.
went for the 10m abseiling. cos the 15m too many pple. the 15m was steeper, so easier to go down. 10m got more rocks, so have to kick our way down.
josiah scared me, when his helmet dropped. he was all the way at the top, then his helmet dropped down, hit the ground. ray or roy oso. cant differentiate who is who. one of them slipped and fell.... lucky got rope, he grabbed the rope. cant imagine if he fell. when it was my turn, this guy infront of me didnt dare to go down. damien was there, so i asked him how long tat guy was there. his reply was about 10mins. up there for 10 mins and still haven go down? tats long. i went down, and wanted to go again.. haha.. i like kicking my way down. fun. after that was lunch. heard from mr teo that the food wasnt clean. tats y many of us kena the stomachache. i tink he also got it. not too sure. by then i took alot of the curry... no choice, have to eat, cos thats the only meat in the food.. the chicken not bad.
after that we got ready for the caving. saw the pple who went for the caving. their shoes were very 'clean'. so 'clean' . didnt know wad to expect. they said it was muddy, slippery. before we went, the temperature was soaring. freaking hot there. open the tent cover, and u can feel something rushing out at u. think my phone got fried inside the heat. i put it inside my bag, inside the tent. so its half dead now. that was when i discovered that the class pets had died. really very hot. we went for caving, then i tink the heat had dried the mud. not that slippery or sticky.
the cave was beautiful. i saw a face of a woman inside the cave, a rhinoceros's face protruding out from the walls, and a giant sea shell at the end of the cave. then theres this hole in the roof, got light shining from it. very cool. got water crystals oso. small but beautiful. the first two caves were stl ok, no bat shit. the last was the darkest, smelliest and biggest. lucky we didnt walk on the bat shit, although the steps we were walking on was wet. and the guide didnt tell me why its wet. batshit is white, and small. but got this faint stench, and alot together makes it... duno how to say. we trekked back, and KM was having stomachache. now its his turn. had to trek thru the forest, then reached the cubicle. haha he didnt want to do it in the forest. i wont do it inside too.. washed up, kept everything inside our bags, and kept the tent. we were finally moving off.
boarded the bus to the final resort. this resort had swimming pool, aircon rooms, and the best food among the food we ate during the camp. no words to describe the food. waited for a long time for the rest to arrive, then we started eating. after that was prize presentation. some i rmb are listed below.

day4--------
we waited until 1+ in the morning, then we went to the train station. at the train station, we watied until 2.40 i tink, then we boarded the train to singapore. it was a very long wait. thx ivan for the bread:) slept on the train. for a very long time. the train was very cold. only our carriage. i had to wait till the other morning to take out my jacket.. i was dumb enuff to wait. then warren's bag was blocking mine, so had to wait for him. so i was freezing for half the journey to singapore. reach singapore at ard 12+ i tink. end of camp.
i've learnt many things on this camp. learnt to treasure more stuff, like food. got to know more friends. got to know more things about myself. a brand new experience for me. and i wont be missing the two class pets, for sucking my friends's blood. haha. joking about the part, where leeches being class pets. overall, really enjoyed myself on the camp. will update pics next time. when i get it from KM.
